Tenants Letting Process

Once you have found the perfect home, there is a step-by-step guide of the letting process.

1	Register your interests (uplet.co.uk or call 01634 823332) First you need to register your interests and property requirements either online or over the phone.
2	Your new home search begins The relevant local agent will discuss your personal requirements and forward a selection of properties that matched your criteria.
3	Property viewing with uplet agents Uplet agents will go the extra mile to conduct viewings that match your day to day schedule, and provide all information relating to the property and the local area e.g. great bars, restaurants or the nearest train station etc.
4	Found your new home Once you have found your new home and provided uplet with all your information to conduct the referencing process, then your reference reports are forwarded to the landlord(s) for acceptance.
5	Tenancy agreements Once the landlord(s) are satisfied with your referencing reports, a tenancy agreement will be drawn up for both parties to sign. An inventory will be undertaken including contents and property conditions before the start of the tenancy.
6	Payments All payments are collected including an advance rental payment and deposit prior to the start of the tenancy. The deposits are forwarded to the government approved TDPS (Tenancy Deposit Protection Scheme).
7	Congratulations After completion of the letting process, the keys are handed over for you to move into your new home, congratulations.
